Excellent, as always. I highly recommend this restaurant as a relaxed place with great service and even better food.

Excellent pizza margarita. The authentic Italian vibe in the menu items makes the experience even better.

We have been going to this restaurant for years and have also had family functions here. The food is always great and their brick oven pizza is by far the best pizza I have ever had. The owners are warm and friendly and this has always been one of our favorite places to eat.

A nice little Italian restaurant that has very good food and reasonable prices. It’s located on a busy corner in East Rutherford within walking distance of 4 or 5 other Italian restaurants. We visit our kids in this town 3 or 4 times per year and have often walked by and thought “we should check this place out”, but didn’t know if it was better or worse than the other restaurants nearby. However we decided to try this one primarily due to solid reviews we had read on Urban Spoon and Around Me. Although we only had pizza on this visit, we will definitely return. The pizza was great…a little small, but well crafted brick oven pizza that we felt were worth the price. I’d recommend this place for a quality meal that won’t break you financially.

I went to Caffe Capri in East Rutherford Firday night Aug.3rd and was thoroughly satisfied. I’m not a big stickler on service more on quality of the food but they had both. I used to be a waiter so I tend to give the servers a break unlike my companions usually do until I give them the look(kinda like The Rock):).But the service was on point very efficient and pleasant. Casual atmosphere with elegance but not stuffy. I had the fettucini alfredo which was very creamy and tasty. My fiance had the chicken francese which was delicious(fav chicken dish for me ever). I’m not big on brick oven pizza for some reason probably because of a bad brick oven place experience.. However at Caffe Capri we decided to order the Pizza Margherita. Wow it was so tender and cheesy yet with an awesomely crunchy crust. We took an extra pie home it was that good. I’ll definately stop by again. 🙂 Oh and the chocolate mousse was exquisite.

This place is our newfound go-to pizzeria, BYOB is a huge place and the atmosphere is casual, wear jeans and a tshirt and you’ll feel totally fine. Eggplant rollatini is to die for, ricotta is thick and creamy and eggplant light so the appetizer isn’t extremely overly filling. We split a thin crust pizza with sausage on it, we polished off the entire thing! This place is great!

I’m surprised that Caffe Capri isn’t Zagat rated since their food is so amazing. This place serves Italian food that’s as authentic as it gets. Their pastas, in particular, are delicious. They are also famed for their margherita pizza. The cooks were born and raised in Italy, and they sure do know how make irresistable dishes. The decor is nothing amazing, but it is a bright, cute cafe and doesn’t feel tacky or old. Great place for a date.
